They (MS higher ups) needs to get their act together and fix their core systems. I currently work as a contractor at Microsoft and even though I reported this issue months ago (which they came back with won’t fix) it won’t be fixed anytime soon. The amount of bugs in windows 10 is staggering. It nearly finds everything i ask it to in less than a second.Like many others this didn’t work for me. It's extremly fast at finding files and has helped a ton just trying to quickly find something.
I've been using this software for a while and it really does prove. Use UltraSearch wherever you like thanks to the portable ZIP version. UltraSearch is available from within the context menu of your Windows Explorer making it easy to start a search within the selected directory. The search results can be sorted according to different criteria, printed or exported as text, RTF, HTML, CSV and Excel file. UltraSearch enables you to exclude folders, files or file types from searches using an exclude filter. Naturally, the Explorer context menu is available inside UltraSearch. In addition, UltraSearch supports regular expressions.Īdditional information like file size and last change date will be shown for all listed files. Simply enter a file name or a pattern like *.exe and see the first results while you are still typing. UltraSearch even identifies NTFS hardlinks.
